This privacy policy applies to the Monad app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Martin Vančo (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The operating system and platform you use on your mobile device
• The time spent on the Application

To use the Application, you are required to create an account. The following information is collected during registration and login:

• Email address
• Name (optional)
• Password (stored securely on the server)

This information is used for authentication, identifying your data submissions, and communicating important information about the Application.

The primary purpose of the Application is to collect Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensor data during quest participation. The following BLE data is collected:

• BLE device addresses (MAC addresses or platform identifiers)
• Device names of detected BLE devices
• Signal strength (RSSI) values
• Manufacturer-specific data
• Service UUIDs advertised by detected devices
• Timestamps of each detected advertisement

This data is stored locally on your device during quest participation and is uploaded to the Service Provider's servers upon quest completion. The data is used for research and analysis purposes.

When you participate in quests, the Application collects:

• Quest start and completion timestamps
• Individual step completion status and timestamps
• QR code scan results
• Application version and platform information
• Timezone information

This metadata is uploaded alongside BLE data to the Service Provider's servers for research purposes.

The Application requests location permission, which is used for the following purposes:

• Enabling BLE scanning functionality (required by the Android operating system)
• Supporting location-based quest features

The Application does not continuously track your location in the background.

The Application uses your device's camera solely for scanning QR codes during quest participation. No images or video are stored or transmitted. Only the decoded QR code content is processed locally to validate quest steps.

The Application may access Wi-Fi network information (such as network name and connection status) to support connectivity-related quest features. This data is used locally and is not transmitted to external servers.

The Application uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymous crash reports. Crash reporting is disabled by default and is only enabled after you explicitly agree to it during the onboarding process. When enabled, the following data may be collected:

• Device model and hardware information
• Operating system name and version
• Application version and build number
• Stack traces and error logs at the time of a crash
• Application state and memory usage

No personal data (such as email, name, or account information) is included in crash reports. This data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy.

The Application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google LLC, to deliver push notifications. When you allow notifications, a unique device token is generated and stored on the Service Provider's servers to enable message delivery. This token does not contain personal information but is linked to your device. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Collected data is:

• Stored locally on your device in a SQLite database during use
• Uploaded to the Service Provider's servers (hosted at monad.martinvanco.sk) upon quest completion
• Stored on the server for research and analysis purposes

Local data related to completed quests is cleared from your device after successful upload.

The Application uses the following third-party services that may collect and process data:

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) - Anonymous crash and error reporting. Firebase Privacy Information
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) - Push notification delivery. Firebase Privacy Information
• Google Play Services (Google LLC) - Core platform services on Android devices. Google Privacy Policy

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at xvancom@stuba.sk and they will respond in a reasonable time.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (xvancom@stuba.sk) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
